Raymond
Some of you have read at least the first three episodes of Raymond Layton, Man of Mystery on Vella, where the first three episodes are free. Some of you don't like the token system. Some are having trouble navigating through Vella to find stories they like. Some of my people do not like werewolves, vampires, hot and steamy, and violent content.
For those readers, I want you to know I will be moving Raymond over to kindle some time this summer. The story is complete. It's not long and complicated. I really don't think it's a good fit for the Vella reading community. But I DO think my readers would like it, if they could get to it.
Here is a review:
5.0 out of 5 stars Mystery, Intrigue, and Romance!

This story translates into the movie you've been waiting to watch on a Sunday afternoon.
I was immediately captivated by the skillfully written dialogue, and action scenes playing out across picturesque international locations. I felt a sense of urgency as though I were escaping across boarders, or saying hello and goodbye by the good graces of chance. What tops off this stories cleverness is the sprinkling of humor in all the right places. For me, it added a certain depth and balance to characters who must remain two steps ahead at all times.
Thanks for the great read, Mrs. Kauffman!
Remember when kindle first came out, many readers insisted they needed a real book in their hands to enjoy it. And although having the actual book in one hand, a cup of tea in the other, while sitting cozily in a big chair is a readers delight, having an entire library in the palm of your hand to access anytime you want is very appealing. So, let's not rush to dislike the episodic storytelling of Vella until we've had a chance to see it, use it, and become familiar with it.
If you do manage to navigate the unfamiliar Vella and read some stories, tell me what you think!
