Dear Gentle Readers,
For those of you who have read THE BASLICATO, you may remember the gondolier Domenico recommends to Garrett that he take Brooke to Harry's Bar for a Bellini. Harry's Bar may be just as famous as the Doge's Palace in Venice. It is the bar Ernest Hemingway made famous in his book "Across the River and Into the Woods." It is on Calle Vallaresso. But you don 't need to go to Venice for a Bellini. Here is the recipe. This one is closer to the ones I had in Venice. The ones I've had at Olive Garden and other places were iced and like smoothies. The Italians don't use ice. Enjoy!
